Satterlee finishes ninth in Pittsburgher prelim at PPMS
After picking up a win in his last outing, Gregg Satterlee joined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) over the weekend for the two-day Pittsburgher at Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway (Pittsburgh, PA).
With a round of prelims on Friday kicking off the doubleheader event, Satterlee raced into A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. Gunning for the $10,000 preliminary payday, Gregg climbed three positions in the stacked field to finish ninth.
On Saturday, Gregg lost ground in his heat but was able to rally into the $50,000-to-win Pittsburgher with a sixth-to-second run in his B-Main. Pinned on the 10th row, Satterlee was an early retiree on lap 25.
