Gregg Satterlee scores 11th-place finish in World 100 prelim

Action resumed at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for Gregg Satterlee on Wednesday afternoon as the Castrol FloRacing Night in America event kicked off the 54th annual World 100 weekend.

Racing into the $20,000-to-win opener with runner-up consolation race, Gregg was scored 26th in the rundown following a lap-21 exit.

For a pair of preliminary nights on Thursday and Friday, Satterlee fell short of a transfer spot on Thursday but was able to wheel into Friday’s prelim with a 10th-to-3rd showing in his heat race. Gunning for the $12,000 payday, Gregg recorded an 11th-place finish.

On Saturday, Gregg’s bid for the $57,000-to-win World 100 finale fell short after pulling off early in his consolation race.
