Fourth-place finish in World of Outlaws' Billy Winn Classic at Bedford
Gregg Satterlee kicked off a tripleheader weekend with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series on Thursday with a trip to Bedford (Pa.) Speedway for the rescheduled Billy Winn Classic.
Drawing 34 entries for the make-up from May 17th, Gregg squeezed into the $15,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. Starting in ninth, Satterlee improved five spots in the 45-lap affair to register a fourth-place finish. He trailed Bobby Pierce, Brandon Sheppard, and Ryan Gustin to the checkers with Tyler Bruening coming in fifth.
A visit to Sharon Speedway (Hartford, Ohio) on Friday for the Battle at the Border opener resulted in a 13th-place finish for Satterlee.
His weekend drew to an early close on Saturday with a ninth-place exit in his B-Main, ending his bid into the $15,000-to-win weekend finale.
