Gregg Satterlee finishes second in USA 100 at VMS
Gregg Satterlee entered his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Late Model into battle with the Ultimate Southeast Series on Saturday afternoon at Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Va.) for the 35th annual USA 100. (Kevin Ritchie photos)
With 22 Late Models entered, Satterlee clocked in seventh-fastest before placing second in his heat. Starting the $20,000-to-win A-Main in fourth, Gregg crossed the line in third but was later elevated to second after the leader was disqualified. He trailed Russell Erwin across the line with Zack Mitchell, Kyle Hardy, and Jamie Lathroum completing the Top-5 finishers.
