His latest triumph came at Pennsylvania’s Big Diamond Speedway and was worth $3,500. He now holds seven wins on the year.
“It was another good weekend for our team. Things went flawless on Friday at Big Diamond (Speedway) and we got the win. On Saturday we weren’t bad, but just didn’t have the car we needed to win and ultimately finished third. Again though, still a good weekend for us,” Satterlee commented. “It’s been really hot here lately, so I thank my team for their hard work and keeping me up front every week.”
Gregg Satterlee returned to the driver’s seat of his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Super Late Model on Friday evening to compete with the Zimmer’s United Late Model Series at Big Diamond Speedway (Minersville, Pa.).
Pulling off a clean sweep of the program to pocket a $3,500 prize, Satterlee followed up the quickest qualifying lap and heat race triumph with a flag-to-flag victory in the feature. He snagged his seventh win of the season and 15th of his career with the ULMS ahead of Tyler Hershey, Jared Miley, Andy Haus, and Dylan Yoder.
For Saturday’s $3,500-to-win event at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Md.), Gregg secured his spot into the main event with a heat race win. Rolling off fifth, Satterlee ran in the Top 5 throughout the main event before settling into a third-place finish. He followed Kyle Hardy and Rick Eckert across the line.
