February 19, 2017 - Satterlee Wraps up Speedweeks at Bubba Raceway Park
On Monday night the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) picked back up at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) for the Wrisco Winternationals. With 44 cars signed in, Satterlee qualified fifth fastest in his group before registering a 3rd-place finish in his heat to lock spot into the opening night A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Gregg held his spot for all 25-laps registering a 10th-place finish.

The following night starting 5th in his heat, Satterlee ran into mechanical issue on the final lap forcing him to pull off. Coming three positions short of a transfer spot in his B-Main with a 6th place finish, Gregg transferred into the DirtonDirt.com Strawberry Dash for his final shot at the main event. Taking only the race winner, Gregg wheeled his way to the front to grab the final transfer position. Rolling off 24th for the A-Main, Gregg Satterlee improved two spots in the 25-lapper logging a 22nd-place outing. (Heath Lawson photos)

With the weather cancelling Wednesday night’s portion of the Wrisco Winternationals, Satterlee was one of 45 Super Late Models signed in on Thursday evening for the $7,000-to-win main event. Earning the 8th-starting position for his heat after qualifying, Gregg recorded a 7th place finish sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top 3 to make the show, Satterlee came three positions short with a 6th place finish.

On Friday starting 6th in his heat, Gregg edged his way into the feature with the 4th and final transfer spot. Rolling off 13th, Satterlee brought out a caution after coming to a stop on lap-30. Battling back from the tail of the field, Gregg scored a 12th place finish.

After the weather cancelled the $12,000-to-win finale at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida), Gregg stopped at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) on Sunday for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Bubba Army Winternationals. Sending the Top 4 out of the heats and into the A-Main, Gregg logged a 6th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 3rd place finish or better to make the show, Satterlee came two spots short with a 5th place outing.
